Packing Tips For Orlando

The most common mistake people make when going on a vacation is over or under packing. If you've never been to Orlando, then it's hard to know what to pack. This page will help you made the best choices before you even leave your house. We highly recommend reading this entire section because it will save you a lot of time, hassles, and money in the long run. This shouldn't take very long - maybe 15 minutes to go through.

The first thing you need to do is organize yourself! You will need to know what your plans are while you're in Orlando. Are you only doing outdoor activities? Are you going to any Dinner Shows? Are you going anywhere else before or after your Orlando Vacation? Are you going anywhere formal?

Orlando is a vacation city and in more than 90% of the attractions, casual dress is suggested. Comfort is key - after all - it's your vacation! Nobody in Orlando expects to see you in a shirt and tie.

For Theme Parks & Outdoor Activities:

• Shorts or Thin Pants (Jeans are too heavy)

• Tank Top or T-Shirt

• A lite wrinkle free jacked or long sleeve shirt might be a good idea

• Swimming wear (If you're planning on going to the water parks)

Know the weather! In the hot months (May - Mid October), it's hot - and we mean HOT! The average day time temperature can reach the Mid 90's easily! But the nights are much cooler, usually in the 70's. Believe me, in the evenings, you'll be very happy you brought that lite long sleeve shirt or jacket. You'll be much cooler than you think.

The Winter is very different in Orlando than you might expect. It gets cold! If you're coming between late October through February, bring sweatshirts and jeans. You'll need them! Gloves are also a good idea. There's nothing worse than frozen fingers!
