for every 30 minutes the driver must wait for
you to arrive.
Question: Why isn't Driver Gratuity Included In
Ambiance Transportation's Fares?
Answer: We believe gratuity should be based on
the satisfaction of service, not a predetermined
amount. If a driver has already received a
predetermined gratuity, they're less likely to
go the extra mile that our customers come to
expect from us.
Question: Does Ambiance Transportation charge
any additional fees not listed in the fare?
Answer: Absolutely Not! Everything
(except the Temporary 5% Fuel Surcharge) is included
in our fares. We never charge for tolls,
"service fees", or any tax. The fares you see
are the fares you pay. We STRONGLY encourage you
to read the Terms and Conditions of other
transportation companies!
Question: Is there a Fare Difference whether I
am traveling from the Airport, Hotel, Business
or Private Residence to the Port?
Answer: No, we do not charge a "surcharge" for
picking up at the Airport so the fare is the
same from the Airport, Hotels, Businesses or
Private Residences to the
Cruise Terminal.
Question: Does Ambiance
Transportation offer Child Restraint Seats?
Answer: Yes we do and at no
additional charge. Once you receive your
confirmation via e-mail, simply click "Reply"
and inform us that you'd like to request a Child
Restraint Seat.
Question: Will the driver make a
stop if we need to use the restroom or stop at a
Pharmacy or Grocery Store?
Answer: Yes, the driver will make
a very brief stop at your request. Please limit
grocery stops to 15 to 20 minutes.

Port Information
Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal
Information
Cruising from
Port Canaveral
has
become phenomenally popular. Some 4.5 million
revenue cruise passengers climbed aboard in
2006, making us one of the world’s busiest – but
least congested – cruise ports.
But many veteran travelers choose us for the
relaxed quality of the experience. Your vacation
starts at the gate of the Port. Drive in and
before you know it, your car is parked, luggage
unloaded and your island experience begins in
one of our modern tropical-themed cruise
terminals. Fly in and find yourself delivered to
our door cool and relaxed, greeted by our
professional and helpful staff ready to make
your experience Smooth Sailing All the Way!
Port Everglades Cruise Terminal Information
Fort
Lauderdale (Ft. Lauderdale) is used by several
cruise lines as an embarkation and
disembarkation point for Caribbean cruises. The
actual port in Ft. Lauderdale is known as
Port Everglades,
and it is the third-busiest cruise port in the
world, drawing almost 3 million cruise
passengers in its 11 cruise terminals. If you
were to look at a topographical map of the
eastern seaboard of the United States, you will
see that Port Everglades is the deepest harbor
south of Norfolk.
Port of Miami Cruise Terminal Information
The
Port of Miami
is the busiest cruise port in the world. In
2005, the port handled over
three-and-a-half-million cruise passengers who
chose among three, four, seven, ten or
eleven-day cruises bound for popular ports in
the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and the
exotic Far East.
Presently, eight cruise lines sail from the Port
of Miami —
Azamara Cruise Lines,
Carnival Cruise Lines,
Celebrity Cruises,
Crystal Cruises,
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines,
Norwegian Cruise Lines,
Oceania Cruises,
Royal Caribbean International
One of the port's most exciting cruise
opportunities is aboard the new
Freedom of the Seas
which began sailing from the port in May (2006).
The Royal Caribbean's $800-million,
4,370-passenger mega ship provides a truly
unique cruise experience.
Port of Tampa Cruise Terminal Information
The
largest and fastest growing metropolitan city on
Florida's Gulf Coast is home to one of the
fastest growing cruise homeports in the nation —
Port of Tampa.
It is estimated that nearly a million passengers
annually set sail to their favorite Caribbean or
Mexican destinations from the Tampa location.
The port has existed for many years, but it
wasn't until about a dozen years ago that
Carnival launched the first passenger cruise
ship. Before that, only grimy freighters
inhabited the waters and the surrounding
warehouse district didn't provide the most
scenic waterfront. All that has changed and the
port is the centerpiece of a beautiful, bustling
Channelside entertainment district, with the
architecturally unique Florida Aquarium as its
anchor. Cruise lines that have joined Carnival
in calling Tampa home are: Holland America,
Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity.
Aside from sailing from an ultra-modern
state-of-the-art terminal, possibly the
highlight of taking a cruise from Tampa is the
ship's passage under the 183-foot tall span of
the
Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
